A Note from Mrs. Cureton...

This season reminds us how thankful we are for our amazing school community—our students who inspire us, our families who support us, and our dedicated teachers and staff who give their all. Reminder that we are out all week next week (November 24th-28th) for Thanksgiving Break. No school Nov. 24th-28th! We hope that you all have a great week with our Cougars and we will see everyone back on campus December 1st!

A Note From Nurse Kelly:

An extra set (or 2) of clothes your your student's backpack is always helpful in case of accidents while at school. If you have a set of clothes in your student's backpack from the beginning of the year, you might change out the clothing for the winter weather coming. If you do not have a change of clothes in your student's backpack, please consider adding that in there in case of an accident. Thank you for your help!

Fall Picture Retakes:

Lifetouch Pictures will be on campus on the morning of December 4th for Fall Picture retakes. This picture opportunity is only for students who have paid for retakes online before December 4th and any students who have moved to Clarkston after our original fall picture date (October 2nd). You can order picture retakes online here: https://my.lifetouch.com/mylifetouch/#/  Picture Day ID: EVT98QQFJ

If you are wanting your child to have their picture retaken, please message your child's teacher on Class Dojo so that we can ensure Lifetouch calls your student for picture retakes.

2026-2027 Tyler ISD District Calendar

A draft of the 26-27 calendar is now available for public viewing. Families are encouraged to take a look at the calendar(linked here) & voice any comments/questions concerns you have over next year's calendar via the link.

Kona Ice:

Please note our Kona Ice day for December has been moved to December 12th!

Clarkston Winter Program:

Mark your calendars! We are excited to host our annual Winter Program on Thursday, December 18th, at 5:45pm, in the Hubbard Middle School cafe! All grade levels will perform at this event--there will not be a play in the program this year--just grade levels signing. If you are planning for your student to attend, please be at Hubbard, with your student between 5:15pm-5:30pm so that we can get all students settled before the start of the program. See flyer below for more details.

Grade Level Newsletters:

All of our grade levels provide a printed, monthly newsletter to families. Our newsletters are designed to keep families informed of the learning and events happening in our classrooms each month. Please use the link here to access grade level newsletters, if you are needing an electronic copy. Click on your student's grade level in this folder to access the newsletter for your student.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving break with your family & friends!
