We had a great day today exploring careers around our community. Thank you to our community members and parents who came today to help us provide this experience for our kids! Check out our Facebook page for a recap of this event!
Next week brings a very busy schedule on campus as we arrive at the last 4.5 days of school! If you are planning to come to grade level awards, completion ceremonies, or end of year parties, you will need to obtain a visitors pass in our front office. Lines will likely be long to check in for these events--we encourage all parents/family members to visit the front office before your student's event and get a visitor pass ahead of time! If you have been on campus before, all you have to do is call our front office, let them know which event you will be attending, and they can print your badge ahead of time! This will save you time on the day/time of your student's event!
Talent Show: If your student is participating in the talent show & you would like to come watch, we would love to have you! Our Talent Show is Monday, May 19th @1:15pm, in the cafe. Please check in at the front office and obtain a visitors badge to attend.
24-25 Yearbook: If you are interested in purchasing a 24-25 yearbook for your student, we have great news! We have been able to produce the yearbook in house this year--resulting in a significant price decrease for our families! Yearbooks are $8/each and can be purchased online, through SchoolPay. We cannot accept cash for this purchase--all yearbooks must be paid for online, via SchoolPay. Please use this link to pay. Online ordering closes TODAY! https://www.schoolpay.com/pay/for/Clarkston-Yearbook-2025/SetKXPS
Medicine Pick Up: If your student has medicine in Nurse Jessica's office, please make plans to pick up the medicine by Friday, May 23rd, @12:30pm. Any medicine left after dismissal on the 23rd will be disposed of so that Nurse Jessica can close out the nurse's office for the school year. If you have any questions, please call nurse Jessica at 903-262-1992.
Pre-K & 5th Grade Promotion Ceremonies: Pre-k & 5th grade parents--please join us Thursday, May 22nd @9:00am (5th grade) or @10:00am (Pre-K) for our promotion ceremonies! The ceremonies will take place in the cafe. Balloons, streamers, and noise makers are not allowed at the ceremonies, but you are welcome to bring other items to celebrate your student(s). All visitors at the ceremonies must have a valid ID to enter the school. Please contact your student's teachers for more details.
Academy Awards: Join us as we celebrate accomplishments of all our students during grade level award ceremonies! See graphic below with dates and times for each ceremony. Come early to get your visitor badge so that you are not stuck waiting in long lines at the office.
End of Year Parties: Friday, May 23rd. See flyer below for grade level party times. Contact your child's teacher with any questions about grade level parties. Parents are welcome to attend parties--you must check in with front office & receive a visitor badge before going to the parties.
Early Release Day: Friday, May 23rd. Students will be released @12:30pm on this day. Boys and Girls Club(BGC) will NOT be open on the 24th--any students who attend BGC will need an alternative plan for dismissal @12:30 on this day.
2025-2026 Pre-Kindergarten: We have just a few spots left for pre-k!
We are excited to announce that our campus is now able to accept tuition(paid) and tuition-free(no cost) students for pre-k! We have an amazing pre-k team and are ecstatic to expand this program on our campus. Do you have an incoming pre-k student or know someone that does? If so, please go online and complete enrollment for your student! https://www.tylerisd.org/page/how-to-enroll Our pre-k spots are limited and will fill up before the summer starts...please do not wait on this!
Have a great weekend!
