We've had a great, 2 days, back from the winter storm closure! I appreciate all of our families being flexible and understanding with us during the winter storm closure as we awaited information from the district. I am glad to have all of our kids and staff back on campus!
Due to the winter weather closures, our assessment windows and printing have been extended into next week. Pre-K Circle testing continues through next week (Feb. 2nd-6th)--student Circle assessment reports will be printed & sent home no later than Tuesday, February 17th. Kindergarten--5th grade mclass (k-2 only) and iReady reports (k-5) will be printed and sent home no later than Tuesday, February 17th. If you do not receive this report or have any questions, please contact your student's teacher.

PTA Valentine Grams:
PTA Valentine Gram sales start Monday, February 2nd, and end Friday, February 6th. If you would like to purchase a valentine gram for your student or any other student/teacher, please complete the paper order form (sent home with students this week & also in image at bottom of newseltter) and return the form, with the correct amount for the grams requested, to the front office. PTA will collect forms and money February 2nd-6th and Valentine Grams will be delivered to students/teachers on Friday, February 13th. Read-A-Thon!
Read-A-Thons actually get your reader excited about reading and it gives friends and family the opportunity to encourage your child to read even more. Our Read-A-Thon starts Monday February 16, 2026.
The week before our Read-A-Thon starts, we will send home instructions on how to activate your reader's personal page. This is where you will be able to view and record their progress.We encourage you to activate your reader’s account today by clicking on https://www.read-a-thon.com/readers/r/oGNrpS/1?utm=email and following the simple instructions.
We've chosen Read-A-Thon because it will not take much of your time, gives your child a reason to read and helps in the development of stronger reading skills. We hope EVERYONE participates!
Student Transfers for the 26-27 School year:
If you are not zoned to our campus and have a student (that is not currently enrolled at Clarkston) that would like to attend school at Clarkston next year, please make sure to complete a transfer application for the 26-27 school year online. Online transfer applications are new this year--we will no longer have paper transfer application.
